Working areas
UNEmadera focuses its efforts on defending the interests of the wood and furniture sector, and services to their companies, determining their working areas according to their needs. The three main areas of work are:
Labor relations
Social dialogue with government, employers and unions, and national collective bargaining agreement of the wood and furniture sector. Promoting economic development, under sustainability, productivity and competitiveness criteria.
Institucional relations and legislative affairs
Analysis and industrial policy. Defense and representation of the interests of the wood and furniture sector before public and private organizations. Participation in the development process of new laws, standards and initiatives that directly or indirectly affect us, at regional, national or European Union level.
Development, Promotion and Internationalization
National and international promotion and development of the wood and furniture sector and their companies in the market. Response to needs and promotion of the qualities of the value chain and its products: social responsibility, ecology, sustainable forest management, supply and transport; energy, legal commerce, training, research, quality, image, responsible consumption, competition, end of life, etc.
